@Kiran Di- Yes, I made few changes and correct all spelling mistake and most important, I removed all the Hindi Dialogues from the story, but you tell me which one was better, this one or previous version.

CHAPTER 7


A month passed his group is used to visit the apartment in his presence for group studies and Geet quietly left on the balcony for some hours as she still didn't feel good around his high headed friends excluding Adi.



"Now, What is this?" Maan asked and clenched his jaw tight.



"It's almond milk... why?? Doesn't look like one?"Geet peeps inside the glass and looked at Maan again in confusion. 

Maan rolled his eyes and crushed himself to even think of arguing with her... "Oh I am so obliged Geet that you informed me something so obvious, but please just for my general knowledge, can you tell me, why you keep it here?" Maan pointed toward his study table.



This time Geet slapped her forehead and murmured something another side Maan felt like pull his hair out first she doesn't understand his sarcasm and now she is busy in self-talking, but ignoring her antics he tapped her shoulder with questioning gaze.

"See Krishna! He doesn't know anything, offoo!! almond milk is so good for Kids, especially who had exams on their head" Geet told him very interestingly... Maan was like "please god save me from her".

"Kid???" He spoke between of his gritted teeth.


Geet bite her tongue slightly then nodded in yes then no... again yes.. whilst Maan was taking steady steps toward her and pressed her between his body and bedroom back wall.


"So, you think me as a toddler... didn't you?" Maan hissed in an inaudible voice.



Geet was so nervous to register his words in the proximity of his male body whilst Maan was unknown to their proximity and pressed himself more into her dedicated frame and don't know why but tears beamed in Geet eyes? The vulnerability of her female heart made her pushed Maan from her and run into the washroom.


Oblivious to all this Maan just laughed aloud behind her back and shouted "Omg, I never knew that a witch could also get scared, just look at your face Geet, it turns white... Ohh my god" he laughed and laughed.. unknown to the condition of Geet, whose tears dropping with his every stroke of laughing.



She cried till the time she feels calm and composed because it's hard to see yourself useless in your partner eyes and this is what Geet's ears feel due to his laugh "you are always just a laughing stroke for him... Geet" She quietly wiped her face and changed into the nightie and get ready for bed.



She saw him many times laughing over her questions, sometimes it's for her lack of knowledge, but she every time veiled her hurt very well and to get rid of those incidents with a small smile.. he didn't has any idea about her hurt because of his immature behavior.



Maan gulped down the milk later and don't give much attention to Geet.. who just comes out from the washroom and laid on their bad as he had his own projects and commitments and he had too prepared for upcoming semester too.

One more month passed and Maan still in the role of carefree bachelor boy... whose life start from institute and end at some party or club.



One day Maan was not returned back from institute but his friend Armaan and Rahul paid a visit to his apartment as their plan of one more group study. This is never a question for them if Maan is at home or they could come here anytime and neighbors too gave them key without any inquiry but now situation is different... Geet is always in the home.


Geet smiled as bell finally ringed and she wiped her palms with apron and move to open the door for Maan.


But she surprised to see Armaan n Rahul at the door instead of Maan. She felt uneasy to let them allow inside in the absence of Maan but her straight denial can hurt them and She is still standing in their way and fiddling with the corner of Her scarf to think a way to tell them about her fear.



"He isn't at home" she tried to sound normal as much as she could.



"okay, now move please he is on the way" Rahul gave her a look of whatever.



"No.. I mean... means.. vo... I am all alone"






Her words rubbed Armaan's self-respect, next moment he pulls Rahul with him and left the building, leaving Geet behind bewailed with their sudden change of action.



Geet closed the door and sat on the couch, all fearing for Maan reaction for this incident. Her girly instinct didn't allow her to let two men enter in her apartment when she is alone but they are the old friends of Maan too which made her guilty for her action.




After half an hour Maan entered unknown the tension between his friends and wife.



"Lunch is ready Maan," she said meekly, Maan stopped for a second after hearing her dull voice but shrugged it as his over thinking only.



"Hmm... Armaan and Rahul were going to visit home, but Don't know where they are?" Maan asked casually and Geet stumbled on her place... But before she could utter a word, Door opened with a bang to their apartment.





"Nisha? ?" Maan asked surprise.


"Yes. Mr. Kurana!!! Nisha... who was your friend until today morning... remember? ?" She snapped.



"Have you turned mad or did you bang your head somewhere?" Maan said and didn't pay her any more attention to think, this is her usual drama to gain his attention like always.





"I don't believe it.. how could be you so cool after... what your wife did?" Maan turned with confused.


"Mean??"



"Ask from your so called wife.. how she insulated Armaan n Rahul? And yes... this friendship over Maan... we couldn't bear her anymore" Nisha left with the same speed and Maan turned angrily toward Geet.


"Geet.. spit out" he frustrated... "Tell me what happened?".





" Armaan and Rahul were here, but you weren't at home and I was all alone then how could I allow them inside. I mean... I" she stammered hard and eyes sting.




"Today, You have hurt me a lot" he left the room angrily and Geet had fallen down on her knees... crying her eyes out.. she doesn't want all this drama but how could she play her safety.. no... her head is bursting out with shame, anger n guilty... all mixed feelings hovered on her.



The evening turned into the dark night, but Maan didn't come back and Geet is still sitting in the same posture as cuddle as a ball.

Maan left straight to meet Armaan and Rahul to the Nisha's apartment as he knew his gang second favorite place is Nisha's apartment only.



He somehow sorted out with his friends and come back at late night only but didn't eat anything or talked with Geet at all.



Three days passed like this only, but no conversation took place between them and he stopped eating at home too but in all this, he didn't see the condition of Geet. She turned silent completely, already she had no one here as her own and now Maan too turned his back to her... no one is here to even ask just for formality if she ate or not or if she needs anything or even if she wants to share something, but no one is here to share her pain and Dilemma.
