Chapter 11




He called Riddimma too and both left on Armaan's bike to Maaneet's apartment. He took his first aid kit with him too. He didn't know what had exactly happened and he knew it's a waste to ask Geet as she was hyper at the moment.


Another side in the apartment, Geet hurriedly made a herbal tea with homely spices and feed him with a spoon to warm his body but nothing is working. Maan tried to hide in her waist as he is half conscious and wants just warmth... Geet without second went inside the blanket and hold him tightly to give him, her body warmth but her sobs aren't near to stop anywhere.



Armaan and Riddimma barged inside as Geet left the lock open in panic.


Geet sighed in relief to see them and sat on the bed. She explained how was Maan coughing and shivering and how did he demand a blanket?

Armaan nodded in yes and checked Maan, after the check up he got worried. Riddimma and he shared an eye lock.


"What happened?? Is everything alright?? He has exams in 20 days." Geet is sweating purposely.



"Umm Geet... I had collected his blood sample n called my senior too for a proper check up.. so wait for some time as we both can't prescribe medicines yet" before Riddimma continued, Armaan interrupted "Don't worry everything will be absolutely fine."


Geet nodded but her status is not so good so, Riddimma gave her little bit glucose for energy.


After 2 hours sample had sent for testing and Doctor prescribed temporary medicine for his high fever including some instruction which was nicely explained by Riddimma to Geet in Hindi later, like what would he not suppose to eat? Or do and don't list etc.


The whole gang reached there one by one and Nisha didn't leave this chance and pushed Geet aside far away from Maan.


"You are the bad omen of his life...you bloody illiterate girl, from the time you entered in his life...only problems are the best friend of him."






"Stop it Nisha, she isn't some virus which can go inside someone and give them typhoid" Riddimma shouted angrily but then closed her eye in regret as she and Armaan want to be sure before disclosing Maan's sudden illness reason.




Armaan glared her n she just dipped her head... "Nisha... stay quite or you can leave anytime and you are right...he has best friends like you who are nothing but a troublemaker." his voice is stern.



"And don't forget...she is his wife and the better half so, next time you push her than you have to face her brother and that is me." Adi firm voice made Nisha glared everyone presented in the room.


Geet again quietly sit next to Maan's head with his one palm in her palms. Tears are not stopping from her eye not even after Riddimma firm warning to stop crying.


The evening turned into the dark night and gang decided to have dinner as they have much responsibility now, for affording one more ill person.


Geet asked Armaan if she could give Maan vegetable soup or not.. for which he nodded positively but asked doubtfully.

"Ok but how will you make him drink.. he is unconscious because of medicine effect." he struggled to say whole stances in a language which she could understand easily.



"Just like we feed a toddler in the sleep and I will manage with a spoon, you don't worry." her eye holds so much hope.




Armaan just hummed in response and started to help Riddimma.. who is getting ready dinner for all.






He knew Adi is out to collect Maan's reports and some vegetable according to 5 or 6 people's dinner and Nisha and Rahul are hopeless when it comes to working, they could only do partying.



Everyone was worried more because of the exam as Maan's 6 months would be a waste if he wasn't able to sit in exams or it could affect his total percentage too.



Adi came and before he says even a single word... Armaan snatched report from him and checked. Riddimma too was peeping from the side as not able to hold herself at all whilst Geet is standing in front of them n chanting her beloved Krishna Ji name as much as possible.


Armaan sighed "it's typhoid guys."



Other just shared worried excluding Geet.. she is still watching Armaan with confused expressions.



"Umm Geet.. do you heard about "Motijhala" the Hindi of typhoid?" and Geet nodded quickly and sweat form on her forehead as typhoid squeeze all the energy from the body.




"O god !!! This disease turn body thin n weak and he had exams to on his head.. what will I do now Krishna Ji..." she chanted everything little loud and her tears are visible to Riddimma and Adi who is still with her whilst Armaan went to call the doctor and tell him about reports.



"Everything happened just because of she brought bad omen, just throw her out guys what the hell she did to my Maan?" Nisha sat down angrily at the side of Maan whilst Riddimma rolled her eye on her usual drama.



"Just stop it Nisha.. if you are here to pick up a fight with Geet than better leave the flat right now" she warned her in the hard voice which was an indication that she is serious on her call.


"Whatever... Ammy Yaar... where is the doctor here his body is burning." 





"He already on medicine and his fever to come down Nisha so, stop picking on everyone and try to behave maturely." Armaan snapped whilst he called Riddimma and Geet.


"Doctor is on the way and we come to know at the time so, it will not cause much weakness now...at least I am hopeful and Geet...Please have your food, you have to be his helping hand...got it," Armaan said.



"Rahul !!! Go home and drop Nisha to her home as already here is a limited place and Armaan, me and Riddimma is going to stay here and we would call you guys if we need help, it's night to give Maan too a little peace" Adi had spoken firmly.



Armaan is a male and soon to be doctor for any emergency like to take Maan hospital or any other emergency whilst Riddimma is to a doctor which is plus point because it does not look good if Geet had to stay with 2 unknown males in her house and Adi is an extra hand, in case anyone needed beside Armaan for driving or going somewhere so, trio decided to stay back in flat itself.



Maan is still unconscious due to medicines so, Armaan is in-charge and all is following his orders quietly.


Nisha n Rahul left the apartment and having no other option. Whilst Riddimma adjust 4 beds on the floor... As they decided to give Maan whole bed to sleep comfortably n Geet asked to place her bed next to Maan's bed on the floor.
